Maybe you know a kid who is PASSIONATE about blacksmithing.
And they're SO EXCITED about it.
But... they're pretty young.
I've met a lot of these kids. Their enthusiasm is infectious.
Most places won't teach anyone younger than 16. And that's for good reason: most places teach larger group classes, and in a group setting, there's simply not enough time or resources to meet kids where they are.
Every kid is different.
It is a lot easier to learn blacksmithing if you have good attention, dexterity, strength, height, stamina, and ability to follow directions. But not everyone (including lots of adults!) has those qualities.
